Do you enjoy being outdoors, no matter what the weather, and getting your hands dirty? At a park as big as Fun Valley, the grounds require daily maintenance, as the grounds are the park's visual representation and should always look clean and cared for. Details like a mowed sunbathing lawn make your heart beat faster!
What will you do?
You will be busy mowing the grass, pruning, removing weeds, emptying bins, picking up rubbish, maintaining equipment and you will be a point of contact for the guests as you walk around the site. You might also help prepare for an event, build tents, prepare materials and bring them to the venue. In short, without you it's just a wild bunch!
Who are you?
• You are verbally proficient in at least English
• You are a team player, but also perform solo
• You have an affinity with everything to do with greenery and grounds maintenance
• You are hospitable, proactive, flexible and stress-resistant
• You do not have a 9 to 5 mentality
• You are available at least 1 day in the weekend during school and at least 3 days a week during the summer holidays
What can you count on?
You will join a fun and young team, we are not formal and your supervisor will work side by side with you. We naturally have a beautiful and unique working environment that offers varied work so there can be a new challenge every day. You will receive a card with an amount to spend for lunch and a 50% staff discount for your lunch every working day. Salary is in accordance with the Horeca CAO and depends on your age.
